TODAY TRANSITIONS Coaching
For those ready for change, I will be your partner through the journey.
When I started Today Transitions, LLC, in 2014, I had just completed training to become a Certified Professional Coach (CPC). As a mom, and later, as I made a mid-life transition to become a nurse, I was well versed in the growth and development of children. But it seemed to me that once we reached adulthood, little information or help was available to assist with the rest of the transitions across the lifespan.
This practice focuses on adult transitions for life, health, growth, and changes that continue throughout our lives, from careers, relationships, and health issues up to and including final transitions with end-of-life decision-making. Using a “whole human” approach, I help clients identify and make sense of options so they can make the best decisions given the information they have at the time. I work with patients and clients to move through these transitions in a safe, non-judgmental, and confidential environment. I use a process that involves review, reflection, redefining, repositioning, and reinventing until goals are clear, realistic, and achievable to ensure maximum impact.
LIFE | HEALTH | GROWTH | CHANGE
I have experienced multiple transitions and challenges in my life, including career ups and downs, personal and relationship growth, health issues, and many changes.
I served in leadership roles in large and small organizations, and have solid experience working directly with C-suite executives and those still striving to grow their careers.
As a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and Registered Nurse I have extensive theory and practical experience in all domains of patient care. I have a clear understanding of health challenges, needs for behavior change, and how difficult that can be.

You learn most from what does not work. First you understand what went wrong and why, and then you move on.
Keep trying. Resilience is key.
I have a comprehensive knowledge of health systems and how to work with them from the perspectives of a nurse, patient, and multigenerational caregiver. I recently became a Board Certified Patient Advocate (BCPA) and expanded my practice to include private consultation and assistance navigating the healthcare system.
During my personal growth, I was fortunate to be supported by my own coaches, professional counselors, teachers, mentors, professors, and great leaders. It takes a village to be whole, healthy, capable humans.
Life and growth is messy, and clients value me because I bring a holistic view that enables clients to sort through what matters, gain clarity, and take action for what is needed at key transition points.
